Staff feedback
Our ninth formal staff attitudes survey indicated that progress has stalled somewhat compared to last year with a number of areas showing some slightly poorer results.
Further analysis, however, showed results were broadly similar to the last pre-Covid year’s ratings (2019) with improvements being registered in five of the 12 areas of satisfaction with no change in a further one. Actions designed to address the areas of regression have been identified & implemented.
Our deeply-valued staff also left written feedback on their experience of working for Routes To Work.
One colleague said: “I am incredibly proud of the service delivery to clients and consistently see such passion and dedication on a daily basis from my colleagues.”
Another was moved to comment: “Great company to work for and the vision and values say it all.”
Reflecting on tougher times, this staff member said: “The last year and a half has been different working remotely
as I have missed the face-to-face contact with clients and interaction with my colleagues, but the job has still been done and the clients have continued to be supported.
“I think staff have been treated very generously during this time when many other people were hit very hard financially. I am glad we are starting to move back to normal and into the office again.”
As for the adaptation to working from home, another colleague added: “Routes To Work has given its staff the tools and support to be able to work from home, which has been greatly appreciated.
“Communication for keeping the staff in the loop has been fantastic and Routes To Work has also adapted to the changes that had to be put in place for our clients due to Covid.”
